The movie unfortunately named "I Love You Daddy" will never be available to the general public.

This was a film, written, produced and directed by Louis CK.

This is a good movie. There is no other way to put it. It's witty and original. And if the Louis CK allegations hadn't come to light it would have been a critical success.

I've read the critical reviews, and sadly, none of them actually critique the actual movie. If you have problems with some factors that are unrelated to the actual film..then just don't review it. You can't review a movie and then give it a shitty review just because you don't like the guy who made it.

A lot of reviewers are stating that the name is creepy. And I agree. But it has nothing to do with Louis CK and his sexual proclivities. I always hate the term daddy. If I'm watching a porn movie and a girl says "daddy" it turns me off immediately.

Regardless of the subject of the movie, I think that "Daddy" should never be used. I've hooked up with latina girls and they often use the term "papi" during sex and I immediately shut that shit down.

The general public will never see this movie, but if you are a fan of film you will know how to see it. (Much like "The Interview" which was also pulled from theaters).

It's worth a watch. It's well written. And Charlie Day is hilarious. It's a unique film with a very strong message that resonates with a lot of issues people deal with today.

My boyfriend and I tried to watch this like 3 days ago and thought it was so stupid. We made it a little over a half hour in and we started to question why we kept going. We ended up giving up. For people who can actually act, I think they all forgot how to in this film.

I agree with you on the Daddy topic. I’m interested to see this movie but would definitely battle with my bias against C.K. I’ll definitely post my opinion and try to keep that entire situation separate.

I actually understand what you are saying. But... I think what is missing is that Louis CK actually tried to emulate older styles of cinema in his approach. As with the black and white style, he's imitating the film style of the 40s and 50s. If you are familiar with the history of film, you can see this and see that the movie is a somewhat satirical take on the campy acting style of a bygone era.

I think that the mix of modern dialogue combined with an archaic style of film making was a bold choice that would have been touted as such if not for the allegations that came to light.
