Well - this isn't something I've ever dealt with RE my current husband, but my ex used to watch it and it was a very negative thing for me.
Mainly - back then (20 years ago) most typical porn wasn't designed to appeal to women. It was designed to appeal to men. The make-up heavy, perfect-bodied women were the stars. That production level of stuff isn't real, and never interested me, so I found myself at a loss for why it appealed to him. It made me look down on myself even more than I was prone to doing naturally. (at that time I was anorexic - purely because of low-self esteem).
In the years since then porn has come a long way. It's no longer ONLY dominated by the model-esque porn chicks produced by Brazzers, etc. And as a result, I've found a lot of porn that I do enjoy. And oddly, I'm with a guy who doesn't care about it.

Honestly, because they may feel insecure or think that their man doesn't find them attractive. Personally, I have never found porn to be entertaining or sexy but to each their own. Porn just like modeling is going to have very hot women who will do whatever is required for their shoot , so if your not comfortable doing certain sexual things that are depicetd in the partial porn that your guy watches, it may make you ineasy in case they may want to actually try it. Next, most woman aren't going to look exactly like those girls so if you have a type and your woman isn't in that category she may feel insecure or upset . Lastly, personally I would like to think I can get my husband aroused by myself without the aid or use of porn regardless of the reality of that statement.
