With someone you know but haven't dated with endless possibilities?

Your sentence is a bit ambiguous for starters. So I know them but I "haven't dated them with endless possibilities" whatever that means? Because as written, it's the dating that has endless possibilities.

Or is it going on the cruise with them that has "endless possibilities"? If you mean the latter, then your sentence should be:

"Would go on a cruise that has endless possibilities with someone you know but haven't dated?"

* end of writing lesson *

Oh, and the answer is, maybe. If we were both unattached and it wasn't a co-worker (won't cross that line), then I could see it happening.

Yes and if you go on a cruise maybe you start dating and it didn't start out as a cruise with endless possibilities it became that way because you friendship became more or possibly not

Watch out. You may just be inspiring my next story. (Don't worry, I'd give you a credit. Or maybe have a character in the story named Doctor Love.T9LK9cyR8qKCKUIV )

It would seem that this situation would be very similar to going on a cruise alone and meeting an unknown person on the cruise and seeing where it goes as you learn more about each other. There would a lot variables to consider in a situation you described - mainly living arrangements. If the relationship soured, then you wouldn't to be forced to either accept the results and continue the cruise, cut the cruise short and make your arrangements to get home or wander aimlessly about the ship for the duration of the cruise.

If the conditions were right, I think I would.

Beffer says she would with a gal but not with a guy.

Not sure if the gender would make that much of a difference.

No, I would get very bored. Cruises are not appealing to me.

On a windjammer, sure, but not on those top-heavy floating apartment blocks.

I get seasick just looking at a boat, but the horrors of cruises in this age of Covid-19 convinces me that nothing in the whole wide world would get me onto one of those things

We've cruised a lot in the past but, yeah, fortunately we've done most of the itineraries we were interested in because I think we'll be doing less of it.

We were planning on taking one this summer. But cruise ships seem to be floating Petri dishes so there is no way were getting on one until there is a proven vaccine for COVID-19.

I was done with vanilla cruises a while back. Total emphasis on separating people from money, just like casinos.

I regret never having experienced a swinger's cruise, but now no way I'd expose myself to the dangers. If it was just STDs I'd manage with appropriate safety measures, but now it appears that the only way to survive is with full-on HAZMAT gear. Not conducive to getting your jollies...

I can't be bothered to go on a cruise.

I never cared to go on a cruise.

NO! Hell NO! Way too much sickness and breakdowns to convince me I'd come back with any sanity left!

NO! HELL NO! NO WAY! In the past few years cruises have become sailing death traps! If they gave me a free cruise I’d give it to one of you. Beside I hate to be confined

I've never desired going on a cruise. Although Viking cruises have had some appealing Danube River cruises that I found interesting.

But the general cruise. Fuck no. It seems like a way for divorcees to get laid. Cruises are a weak way of traveling. It's a terrible way of experiencing other countries.

Cruises aren't my thing. I only like ships and boats if I get to drive them. I'd much rather go camping somewhere beautiful and secluded with someone I know and trust. I wouldn't mind renting a sailboat for a week or so and going on a little adventure.

When I was a much younger man, I worked aboard a cruise ship. I can confirm that there was a great deal of sexual activity, constantly. Quite a lot of it between people whe met while onboard.

Regarding disease, I was having this discussion with an old friend who worked with me and we were trying to work out why it is now so prevelant. We concluded that it is down to air conditioning. On the ship we worked on in the early 1980's you could still open actual portholes, you had a ceiling fan, and if you needed to cool down you took a walk on deck, scantilly clad sometimes. That sometimes led to my earlier point.

British registered cruise ship out of Miami & San Juan, for those that are interested.

I've heard great things about working on a Cruise too, as JamesMerton mentioned. A friend from college was a paid musician on one, and he rather enjoyed himself as a single man who played the jazz guitar.

Cruises seem a little confining, and I don't like kids. So if I did a cruise, it would probably have to be a room to rich for me to afford and cruise without children.

If I did that, it would be fun. I'd do it with a friend I hadn't dated, with the assumption that it would be a week long date though.
