I've been thru every topic in health and fitness, and there is not one thread addressing this. There are so many topics addressing male dysfunction, penis size, you name it, but for us ladies, it seems to be a mute subject.
There are hormone creams, but as far as I know, nothing like viagra; but then, there haven't been enough tests to know for sure. (TYPICAL!)

I have three famous stories, 2 recommended reads and have come in the top ten in two competitions~ Come in and make yourself at home.

I assume you've already scoured the internet for solutions. If not, I would certainly do so, because there it certainly isn't a mute subject. A google search on "female sexual dysfuntion" gave me over six million hits. I'm sure there is info there about possible causes and treatments, and probably about personal experiences too.
For others who, like me, know little about it but want to learn more, I found the website of the Mayo Clinic to be very informative.

Edit: Adding "forum" to the search words brings you to support groups and a host of discussion forums about sexual dysfunction.
A little kindness can be so valuable, yet costs almost nothing

In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

I've been thru every topic in health and fitness, and there is not one thread addressing this. I have a confession; I cannot achieve orgasm anymore. I'm 55, post-menopause, (I know, not sexy) but I'm still very interested in sex. What can I do? There are so many topics addressing male dysfunction, penis size, you name it, but for us ladies, it seems to be a mute subject.
I asked my doctor, and she just gave me a hormone cream and said there isn't anything else I can do. That can't be true. Does anyone know if estrogen treatments will help? I hear the pill increases it. I've also heard that viagra does work for women, but there haven't been enough tests on it (TYPICAL!)

I need advice. I miss the big O and am at a loss.

With another doctor you might be able to get a prescribed Sybian ;)

Anyway, it sucks of course and I hope you'll find some way to get the sparks going again. Good luck!

I've never heard of that happening to anyone before. Is 55 young to be post-menopausal? Not impressed with your doctor's answer that's for sure. I really hope you find something that can help. I can't imagine what that's like.

Yeah, I went thru it from 39-49, from start to finish. It's just been the last few years or so that I've had this problem. I have looked online, but so many of those articles don't help. I know I'm not alone, many women my age suffer from this. It seems I'm always hearing about men's sexual issues, but no one talks about female sexual enhancement.
I think seeing a different doctor is probably my best next move.

My wife works for an alternative dr. She's a nutritionist but deals with lots of other stuff helping folks. She has spoke of a testosterone cream that is rubbed on the clit before sex that helps. Scream cream or sum such thing folks call it. It may help short term. She has mentioned others as well that I dont recall. I will check with her and post back. That would be very frustraiting for you and would be for me as well. Dont get down on yourself.

Thanks, Reggie. I appreciate your compassionate and helpful response. It's not all that uncommon for women who have past menopause, I wish there was a quick fix. It's very frustrating. I can have a very small one on my clit, but it's not as satisfying.

My wife is going through this also. I get very frustrated because we used to have great sex and we both were very satisfied. Now I can't even touch her because she is not interested in sex. Is there any thing you have found that helped you get through this situation? I would love to hear any remedies you have found wheather it be hormonal or psychological. Thanks
