I know this doesn't go here, but i don't know where to put it. When I try to edit my stories, my mouse moves all over the text, deleting single words or paragraphs or rearranging the text, making it impossible to properly edit my stories. I'm computer ignorant and I'm using a brand new iPad to write. Any help would be greatly appreciated, either to point me to the correct forum or how to edit without interference.

iPads are REALLY hard to write with. I use mine all the time, for nearly everything, but not for writing. I've tried and it sucks, for the reasons you mention. It's just a weakness in the product (a weakness in any touchscreen tablet I would guess).

I'd either find an actual separate keyboard to use with the iPad (they are cheap-ish, like $30 on Amazon), or even better, use a laptop or a desktop.
