10 - I was finally able to achieve my dream of graduating from University.

We were getting evicted from our home of almost four years and were going to be homeless... But four days before the deadline, we were offered a place to rent, and now we don't have to sleep in our car in negative degree temps. Also, we learned who true friends were, as they opened their homes and hearts to us in our time of need.
During the time when we thought we were going to be homeless, my husband made plans for him and the kids to go live with his parents, and I would go to a shelter... Finding the new place meant that we wouldn't split up, and possibly end our marriage of 14 years. This has given us a chance to decide if we are going to reconnect as a couple, or decide to call it quits. It's nice to have a little breathing room to think things through. I feel like it's maybe God's way of saying that we need to re-think things through before we do something we can't reverse.
