How can WE write a story?

Some years ago, on another site that allowed stories and posts, I was able to 'start a story.' I posted a paragraph or two, the gist of which is - Once upon a time...he went...and met...and they. (period)
I should add that I prefaced it with a request that some idle and fertile mind 'pick it up and run with a bit more.'
So someone did: "on a road trip to...and about halfway there she...and it lasted...and they almost got..."
Planes and trains and automobiles, daylight and dark, inside and outside, local-to-international, vanilla-to-OMG, it was all in there.
Anybody out there know what 'vehicle' I could use to get something like that going here?

Sorry. But we don't allow unmoderated stories to be published in the forums. You could actually collaborate with someone and get it published properly, but there is no mechanism to add to and edit a story already published.

I think one of the forums has a 5 word at a time version of what you're talking about, but nothing more extensive than that.
