Wondering if anyone would like to share some of their favourite work out tunes?
Putting together a list to listen to at gym / bootcamp sessions and to dance around my house and welcome all suggestions.

I had some Rock Workout Apple Music mix on today but it just doesn't cut it. I need something a bit more tailored / also bouncy or dancey!!
My latest offering: Intoxicated ~ An Erotic Poem.

Barack Obama recently shared his. It's only about 40 minutes, but the guy has impeccable taste.

Obama playlist

Recently, it has become my play list too, though I like to run with just my overheating brain for company sometimes.
My body begged for release and for more; for a perfect moment, a sublime stalemate held

I prefer Rise Against. The perfect mix of melodic and hardcore.

Even though they sing about stuff like gay teenagers committing suicide, the mix of actual lyrics and guitar driven melodies makes it the perfect workout music.

I've had pretty much the same workout mix for the last ten years. Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys, and Eminem are pretty much staples. As soon as a song stops getting my adrenaline pumping, I drop it and replace it with something new.

Type O Negative - any album will do.

Nine Inch Nails - the older stuff.

And that's it lately . . . that's like - 3 decades worth of music that shaped my life. Don't need much more than that.

I love listening to Evanescence when I'm running.

Evanescence is great for working out. A perfect mix of melodic and hardcore. And I love female singers when they play actually good music.

Their live stuff is great, because the audience takes the place of the background vocals which adds volume and emotion to the track.

Calvin Harris feat. Rhianna - This Is What You Came For. Love a bit of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, etc.

Works better if I watch the video too.

OMG, my kids laughed when I showed them this video after MJ's, Bad. Of course, that was after
showing them both Beat It, then Weird Al's, Eat It.

I cycle and swim without music but running I like a few tunes. Usually light-hearted punk/pop like Blink 182, Vaccines, We are Scientists, Lillingtons, Millencolin, Bloc Party

A few dance/rave tracks sometimes but I find I get more of the adrenaline kick from guitar music.

My trainer chooses the tracks during my workout sessions. He has good taste and it gets my adrenalin going pretty quickly
Dance, rock, metal - Anything loud and with a good beat. AC/DC - Thunderstruck is a killer though.
