If we did that, it would leave me with very little to say…

The name 'Jonty'.

Its not very common but there's a bloke on Tv with that name sometimes and i think its the most ridiculous name Ive ever heard of!! Why would you call your kid Jonty?! It doesnt even sound like a name, more like a 2 year old child trying to say Jonathon. Ggggrrrr its so frustrating!!

It is what it is Nicki and since you think outside the box and even in this economy you have to know that you can still get voted off the island. Omg that is too much information so you are not getting off the hook that easily cause I will throw you under the bus so don't go there. You know I alway give 110 percent even though it may be the same ol' same ol so with all due respect it's all good 24/7 Dude.......

I use at least half of these on a semi-regular basis...I'm tempted to feel shamed as a result, but I think i'll resist.

We use some of them sometimes, Lexy, and welcome back.

You forgot to add "no offense" where people say offending things after wards. For example
"No offense, but your mother was a dirty whore"
Forget who you thought I was, I'm The Chris J bitch!

You're right, Chris, and another one like that is, "I hate to tell you what to do, but, shouldn't you..."

Another similar one is, "No offense intended, but..." That's when I punch 'em.

A trendy one these days is, "Going forward." Why can't they just say, "In the future..." or "down the road"?

That reminds of when people ask my opinion on something and do the opposite like, "Should i get red or blue Kool-Aid?" I say, "Blue," "Ok ill get red"

"Bling" can be shoved down the garbage disposal with a few others on the list. That one drives me insane. And also any over used corporate propaganda.... "think outside the box" is a good example that was mentioned. Or "The cheese has moved" (from the book Who Moved The Cheese?)

Goldie, we were forced to read that %$&&*%$%$# book at work, only because they knew massive layoffs were going to happen and we were to, somehow, accept it.
What a piece of shit attempt at mind control, that book.

I HATE the book Roc. I totally agree with you. We were "asked" to read it at a a place I used to work for. I love the mentality it has. I can sum up the book for free for anyone who ever thought of buying it.... Here it goes.... pay attention you guys.... "Shit happens. Things change. Deal with it or find a new place to work. And have a nice day!" There. I just saved the entire forum $14.95. I wish someone had just told me that instead of passing the "%$&&*%$%$# book" around the office.

"Supposably." it's not a word, mouth-breather.

"Irregardless." would actually translate to "with regard", except everyone who uses it is so eager to use it that they never really think about it.

-also-

"I could care less." This works as a legitimate sentence, but when people use it, they invariably mean "I COULDN'T care less", so why is it never said this way?

-and one more-

"I'm sorry, but _______." First of all, there is never anything in the following statement that warrants an apology, and usually an apology would be downright bewildering if taken at face value. But even if it were appropriate, you're never actually apologetic about making the point in question, otherwise you wouldn't be making it in the first place, so why say, "I'm sorry?"

I hate dialogue when you pass sombody in the street,
'Hi, how are you?'
'Yeah, I'm fine and you?'
'Oh yeah great'
'Ok then see ya'
'Ok then bye'
Then one of them usually say's 'Give my love to the family'

The other person walks away thinking 'Yeah right!'

ha ha ohhh well same ol same ol lol
