I was watching "Style" by Taylor Swift and the guy is gorgeous. It got me thinking who are your muses or sources when describing your characters?
Mine are all about past lovers. However, my next story will be about my current (and best) lover and I am sure that many will enjoy reading about him as well...
mine are all sorts tbh. i'm currently writing two stories one is just random people i thought up, the other is someone from here i did a rp with a while ago. other than that one was my favourite pornstar. but as i say i take my muses from anywhere
Mine aren't usually inspired by real people, at least not specific ones. I may picture someone I know or an actor in the part, but I usually have the concept in mind first, then find someone whose image fits the bill.
Usually my muses for story characters and story ideas are the cover pics I find. for me it's a lot easier to write a story to fit the pic than the other way around! I search my sources and when I find a pic that a story jumps out of, I go with that. But other times I have used people in my past or even people I come across in day to day life.
Real people, fantasies, books, movies, myself (I'm a real person so I guess that is redundant). Anything, really, can be the seed for a story.
