I'm working a a Sci-Fi story called "Out of this world part 3" it was going to be the third part to a three part series but a few more ideas popped into my head so I'm delaying the story that was going to be in part 3 (a threesome between our only human Jennifer, and two aliens Nookumick and Nimlinlinanim). Introducing a new character like that within the last arc of a story is usually a bad idea - in my opinion - and as a reader I hate it. I will openly admit I have not read the first 2 parts but just in general, your readership should be invested with the established characters, what you should be seeking is a resolution, and letting all the sleeping dogs lie. Not to just put "then they all came and lived happily ever after. The End."
