If Steph's computer hadn't blown up with all of the filthy European hardcore pornography he has been downloading lately, that's probably what he'd say.

(Except it'd all be uppercase and have too many exclamation marks at the end...)

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm not the most sociable person on Lush. I can be honest and admit that. I don't spend very much time posting sexy images on other people's profiles or PM'ing people regularly to keep in touch. To be frank, I really struggle to find the time for the little things.

Something I've been remiss about lately is thanking the people that take the time to read my stories and offer their thoughts and comments on them. I know we have a 'reply' feature on there now but I don't think I've ever used it. I should though.

I suppose this is my way of saying thank you. I appreciate every comment you guys leave me and I do read them all.

(If anyone else wants to use this thread to thank their readers, go for it!)

So Liz, does this mean you are subliminally asking for naked pictures of Ron Jeremy?

Well Liz, I think your writing is superb. As far as you being either lazy or a bitch, I think an evaluation of that magnitude is above my pay grade.

I have to raise my hand as being a member of this group.

I read every single comment and PM I receive and it's purely due to time and my hectic scheduling as of late that I can't always do the proper thanks, 'likes' and wall postings. I have tried in the past, and sometimes I get on a roll, but I'm the first to admit I'm not always very consistent.

Those that know me are aware that I often have a list of PMs I need to respond to scheduled into my phone as appointents and I'm forever trying to catch up.

A huge and humble thank you to those that have taken the time to read and/or comment on one of my stories. You may never know how appreciative I am of receiving them or hearing a kind word about my writing, but sometimes I get one *exactly* when I need it most and it's truly a bright spot in my day.

Likely excuse, Red. You too, Blondie.

Boycotting the both of you and your stories, effective immediately.

I'm awful at it to. I usually only come on these days for quick 3-5 minute spurt (no, goddammit, there is no pun intended this time).

No time for the tedium involved in posting thank-you images to everyone's wall. And that's just to impersonal anyway. I'd have to really thank them, and that'd take longer.

I usually try to take some time for those who invest a big review though. Ashleigh. Always. Though, her opinion is usually the one I seek the most.

So, just imagine a big ass box that explodes in your face and goes "boom goes the dynamite you awesome fucker for reading this drivel" every time you read/review.

I know I get slack at thank you's. Whenever possible I do try and send a thank you out to my readers/commenters. I really do appreciate that more than you know and I'm not always good at expressing how much it means to me.

I don't normally do the 'reply' to the comments. I'm dyslexic and that section gets real confusing to me when those are used. That's just me and I'm a bit quirky.

But seriously, it means the world to me when y'all read my stories. A great big thank you!

Hell, Liz, you can get away with not posting the pics and 'thank you' notes; all you have to do is smile at 'em and they swoon! Me, I try hard to always say thanks. My main story is long - even the individual chapters are usually long. If they've stuck with me this long, and taken the time to read and then comment on my scribblings, the least I can do is say thanks.

That said, I know I miss some. For those folks I'll use this handy forum Liz has given us to say thanks; if you didn't read - and occasionally say something nice - it would take a lot of the fun out of writing! We really do appreciate you.

I'm AWFUL about posting thank-you's on walls! I DO read and LOVE getting comments ... I just tend to not post because I forget. Now, if someone messages me, or tells me what they think in a chat, I ALWAYS say thank you.

I have a handful of followers, and to YOU GUYS, I give the biggest thanks -- I mean, f'reals, how much of an awesome feeling to know that you want ALERTS when I post something new!?

I thank EVERYONE who reads me. Even if you don't comment, I thank you.

Thank readers? What the hell for - it's not as if we're putting a gun to their head to read!

They should count themselves lucky I even allow their comments anywhere near my stories!

Why not read some stories instead

I'm not great at the 'thank you' thing. Which is not to say I'm not humbled, flattered and grateful when readers comment. I truly am. What I'll often do is reply to a comment and shortly thereafter delete it, so only the poster gets to read it, (on their Timeline...) I do this so as not to 'clutter up' the comments section with my observations on your observations! The pieces really should speak for themselves.

I am always genuinely touched when people like the work and say why. (I'm on record as saying that THE READER tells you what the piece means.) I don't write anywhere else, because quite simply I don't think I could find finer readers than I find here. (I'm frequently amazed that pieces that I think are rather average strike a chord with the readership) The comments upon my work quite convince me that my readers are cleverer than I pretend to be. I understand that my writing means NOTHING if it's not read. (And some of it isn't!)

I LOVE talking about the process and I've written extensively about that in various Forum posts, but I GENERALLY don't do that in the 'comments' section under the work. (I think that's a little self-indulgent.) I'm VERY self-indulgent, you understand, but it's your choice to read those musings!)

Am I thankful towards those who take the time to read me? Truly beyond words. I find it very humbling. Honest.

I try to post thanks on the walls of readers who are my friends, but do not individually message others who are not friends who have left comments on my work. More recently we can like or leave a response to a comment on a story, but I do not always keep up with that. I guess that makes me a member of this lazy ingrates club.

I would like to thank all of those who read my work and the collaborations that I have done with Alphamagus and Milik the Red. I appreciate the time that you have taken to read, vote, and/or comment more than I can say. The satisfaction of writing requires readers.

I especially have to thank all of those who have read "Stacey's Choice", the first story I wrote on my own. It is now just over fifty views away from a badge for 30,000 views. If you want to help push it over the top, here is the url:

Again I appreciate all of those who read the stories. I take your comments to heart.
