I've noticed that some of the women I've been with like to use a towel on the bed for sex, whereas others don't seem to bother even if there's a big wet spot on the sheets afterwards. I don't think it has anything to do with how wet they get because after ten or fifteen minutes every woman I've had sex with gets very wet anyways. So is it just a preference thing about easier cleanup or is it something else?
It's probably for convenience. Sex can get rather messy, and the aftermath in the sheets isn't the most comfortable thing in the world...wet or dry. Most people have spare sets of sheets, but they're not gonna wanna change them every single time they have sex...especially if it's frequent.

As much as the aftermath can sometimes be uncomfortable, particularly if my partner is pleasuring me to the point of squirting/gushing, I'm not one to go to the trouble of laying down a towel only because it seems to spoil the spontaneity. I'll opt to switch up bed sheets almost all the time.
