I've been a fantasy before. And I've been someone's reality.
The fantasies I was not an active partner in amused me. I played the part, flirted and in general had fun- after all at the end of the day I was going home, and smiling along meant I made more tips.
The realities are different. You find out that a person is a real living breathing thing with needs, desires, hopes, and personalities. It's harder to still be someone's fantasy when you ARE their reality.

Sure. Fantasy is just that - fantasy.... I would rather someone who really KNEW me fantasize about me. If an online friend fantasizes about me, great, but they are probably adding whatever they want to who I am. Someone who knows me will fantasize about the real me
