So, I'm compiling a list of potential literary agentsa nd publishers. Right now - it's just light research so I can better understand the whole process, etc.
I've noted that at several publishing houses (big, small, and electronic) they have the submission requirement of "no first person - all stories/works must be in third person"
Why is this, do you think?
And - at what point should an author care and consider rewriting their story/work?
I write most of my erotica in 1st person - present tense. I am smooth in 3rd person limited present/past - and 1st person past tense . . . but don't know if I care enough to purge and revise.
What are your thoughts?
