This is quite possibly the stupidest question I have ever seen on Lush. No normal person could have come up with a question this ignorant of human sexuality. The clitoris has nothing to do with periods, for one thing. For another, the question is terribly misogynistic. It is filled, at least on a subconscious level, with the kind of hatred of women that should be found only in the wards of mental hospitals and prisons for the criminally insane, but has become more and more acceptable among religious fundamentalists of all persuasions.

What gave you the idea that having a period is something horrible? Are you like those men in the desert religions who believe that women are unclean during their periods and must be avoided at all cost, or is it just that you like the idea of mutilating women? What kind of sick mind comes up with questions like this one?

Jesus Christ. I agree it's a really stupid question, but I can't say I see a shitload of hatred towards women along those that consider women on their periods as unclean. He's just asking a stupid and somewhat funny question, in the same genre as "if you had to choose for the rest of your life, which hand would you wank with".

How do you compare a question about cutting off parts of a woman's anatomy with deciding which hand to masturbate with? The questions have nothing in common. He wanted to know if I wanted to have my clit cut off. I didn't. The question is disturbing. It isn't funny. I don't see how it could be considered even remotely funny in light of the fact that women routinely have their clitoris cut off in some cultures. Those same cultures see having a period as unclean, and women as inferior in every way to men. This is not a question that a man who likes women would ask. A man who likes women would know that a question like that is anti-woman. Or maybe I'm just pissed because I'm having my period.
