So... I am seeing the pattern that I should not be posting my own pictures? Sorry?

i think that's a veiled reference to people who post, as their avatars, pictures of porn stars, cats, disney characters, desserts, hawaii, etc?

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Or maybe he meant "personal pictures" in open galleries on his profile? Difficult to tell. But if that is what he means..... to each their own. This has been discussed over and over, and from what I have seen some gals like it, but most would prefer they be kept private unless asked for and not in general galleries. I think you will tend to get the type of interest and "friends" you present yourself for. Kind of like fishing.... what you use as a lure tends to dictate the fish you catch. So choose your lures/bait accordingly.

Yes you interpret my question correctly, didn't intend for it to be so vague. I like the reference to "bait" and that made me wonder if I was specifically violating an understood convention. I have enjoyed Lush very much but admittedly I'm still learning about it.

No you are not. There are several really good thread here on that topic, and I am sure you will find them good reading... but I pretty much summed it up in my last post.
