I second this. I used to watch it some, with girls and guys, and it doesn't offend me if it's on somewhere where I am, but I can't help but hold porn responsible for so many guys having a skewed idea of how to treat women in bed.

The sad part is that it's never malicious or a power play. A lot of guys out there just had nothing or no one else to educate them on sex, so that's their example, and they think what they see is something to aspire to.
At times, it's just frustrating and I've been able to *redirect* my partner appropriately. In a worst-case scenario, he got thrown out immediately(if you knew what he did, you would understand why. Perhaps you can already guess...).
Not all, or even most, guys are like this. But, I would assert that a wide knowledge of positions and 'kinky' maneuvers does not a sensual partner's education make.

Let me preface all of this with the fact that any or all of this is perfectly appropriate and erotic if a guy has a conversation, permission, or anything resembling a good feeling that it will go over well with his partner. When I talk about 'porn moves', it's not just about the physical positions they attempt, but also the attitude. Which brings us to 'the moves' themselves. For starters, there's the position (and I admit ignorance to the actual name) where we're both standing, he's thrusting into me from behind. Then suddenly he tries to lift one of my legs (like I'm a peeing dog...) and then continues thrusting like that....it's not more pleasurable from me, it threatens to knock me off balance (and has in one case), in fact sometimes it's a bad angle and hurts, and smacks of a vivid video education.

I never really found myself watching it alone, but then again it wasn't always a 'favor' to guys either. It's generally been, if not everywhere, then just 'around' ever since I got to college. Sometimes it was on ironically, and sometimes we'd look it up on the internet out of curiosity, both with girls and with guys.
By far the best, of course, is to watch it with a guy you want to be with. As long as it's an aid, not a handbook. Luckily, most guys know the difference, especially as they (and I) get older.

I think I've never watched porn with anyone. I know it's a directed movie, even the jism is sometimes fake, so I just enjoy it as a movie.
