Titel says enough?

Would you want to be able to 'Like' certain comments/forum posts/pictures/etc...

No idea if it would be something hard to implement, but a lot of other sites have it.

I don't want Lush to become Facebook. I hate Facebook. It's superfluous.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Only site I've seen it on is facebook, and then they only have a like button and it's for lazy people. I don't think many people would want this place turning into a facebook like place. *Shivers at the thought*

We have a lot of people already getting mad at Forum posts so you can just imagine the feuds that would occur with like and unlike buttons.

Maybe a BULLSHIT button though!

I like the idea of a like button but a dislike button could potentially see a rise in cyber bullying. Example: you don't particularly like a person, so every post they make, you dislike, so not a particularly good idea. Or maybe I'm talking through a hole in my arse, I dunno.

I think the idea is great for pictures and forums and status but not for stories. I mean there's already the scoring option and the comments option.

The Lush button is cute. smile

But in general, I think we're better off without the 'like' button. I mean, if you have something to add to another post, then post behind them. But I don't see the point of keeping a tally of who or how many liked the fact that cowgirl is my favorite position, or whatever. If it's not a thought worth expressing in words, then why bother?

"The New York Times" has a "recommend" button with a thumbs up symbol in its comments sections attached to articles. I don't think we need it here. If you have an opiinon about a subject, it is not difficult to write a line or two.

But people don't usually read through an entire topic, to find how many users share an opinion.

Anyway, could be a bad idea. Just thought to throw it out and ask opinions in a poll.

Wasn't suggesting it for stories. Although i personally believe, that a like/dislike function for stories would be better than the voting system there is now. Three of the five vote options rarely get used anyway. But that was another topic ;)

Nope, i think it's borring and for lazy people. if you like something write a comment or you like to comment and just say it "i'm agree with you" something like that

So, cowgirl is you favorite position eh? Where's that damn "like" button...

I think there should be a big "like" button on my profile page come to think of it...

Actually, Facebook is not the only site with "like" buttons...for instance, you can go over to this page on Amazon and hit the "like" button...

Lush Erotica, an Anthology of Award Winning Sex Stories [Kindle Edition]

There are really quite a few sites with "like" buttons, and the functionality sort of varies to some degree depending on the site...

You know you want it, you know you need it bad...get it now on Amazon.com...

I agree a like button would just make this Facebook.
What I would like to see is an added categorie for the new compittion stories. I try reading and scoring them all but I feel like I miss some along the way. If they were all listed in one place for the duration of the currant contest then finding them would be a snap.

As long as there's a "dislike" button along side it, I think that's a fine idea.

I think they said before that a like button in the forum would be a bitch to implement cause the forum code is more fucked up than tommie chong... I would like one though. I don't see a problem with people liking posts. If there is a debate going on and one side gets a bunch of likes and the other doesn't then we can see what people think. What's wrong with that?

Also, if people that don't usually post or anything do happen to get brave enough to post and someone likes what they said they might post more.

Just a like button, not a dislike button. I can see people crying about favoritism or hurt feelings or whatever over a dislike button... But I have wanted to say hey, that was funny or smart but a whole post just to kiss ass isn't really adding to a thread so a like button would be cool.

Funny comeback... LIKE

Good point... LIKE

Nice haiku... LIKE

Cool picture of some tits... LIKE

Why wouldn't anyone want that?

Okay, so if a Bullshit BUTTON isn't feasible, could we at least install a meter?
