We've been incredibly busy behind the scenes this year on lush, and it's about time we ran a new competition.

To celebrate the introduction of our Lush Gold Membership, along with the launch of our Mobile site and soon-to-be-launched Android App, we’d like to announce our latest story contest, the "VIP" sex story competition - full details may be found here: http://www.lushstories.com/competitions/vip.aspx

The first prize is our biggest to date, the winner receives $500.

All of the top 10 stories will feature in a new ebook, which will earn the authors an equal share of royalties, as well as exposure on Amazon.

Just a question about competition story scores. I know we can see the view counts, and comments, and I presume we can't see the scores because it's a competition, and it might lead to battles or something.

But will we be able to see the scores we got after the comp, please? I learn a lot about how people liked/disliked my work from the scores (even if others don't), plus, whilst I am soooo crap at maths, numbers are something tangible to me (although it's the comments I save in a separate document, as they mean the most to me).

So, after the competition ends, will we be able to see our scores, please? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

after the comp, yes, you will be able to see your scores. except, in your case, i am petitioning to keep them hidden. biggrin

What quantifies "shortly"? Is it a day? Sprite's height? A piece of string too short to tie a pretty bow with? So long it reaches to the moon and back?

Or is it more along the lines of, "We're not sure, but we're letting you know we're working on it"?

I am a very impatient person, and I am desperate to know if I was right in my personal shortlisting. When will we know, pleeeeeeease?

Thank you. I like the details to be firm, you see.

As for Sprite's height, I think she an' me be almost the same level. I'd have said my own height, but Sprite's so famous that everybody knows she's short, whereas me... Plus, it meant more traffic on the thread. I should be given a gingerbread man and a Baileys for that alone.

If not, maybe everybody could post in a thread that they'd entered (arf arf)? Then again, it might get people who hadn't advertising anyway. Could be fun, though!

Anyway, I think they've read them all already, because the judges are intergalactic travellers who read at light speed, and are just doing that thingy like on Pop Idol and stuff where they draw it out as long as possible, and still wait until after the advert break to tell us who's going through to the next round. Maybe they're doing research on witheld orgasms, but witholding the grand climax until we can bear it no longer.
