None. Unless I'm there it bores the hell out of me. I did glimpse Michael Whatever his name was on the news clips that year. The kid that won all the medals for swimming and got caught smoking some herb.

Badminton for me. Love it. Maybe some basketball, too.

I am kind of surprised that two responses are .... "whatever"

I guess I am just a true sports fan .... and I admire the athletes for their dedication to excel at their chosen sport. Not to mention, this is an event, where parts of the world come together, regardless of politics or religion, for the sake of competition of the best of the best.

And, let's not forget ..... some of those athletic bodies, are fabulous to watch as they are Work of Arts!

Probably None. Maybe Gymnastics, Taekwondo or Equestrian but doubt that too. I like the Winter Olympics so much more.

As much as I can. It's a fantastic sporting get together.
All these nations coming together to join in this wonderful event. I love it.

My dad took me to the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta when I was a kid and I totally loved the experience. Actually the rowing events were very close to home and I got to see those too. I really loved seeing the track and field events, sprints, relay races, javelin & discuss throws, pole vaulting, long jumps, hurdles, etc. For me it is a treasured memory.

I dont usually watch the Olympics but I'm really looking forward to watching Gymnastics and Swimming this year. But personally I'm more a fan of the winter Olympics Winter spots are far more interesting in my opinion
But I'm sure the summer Olympics are going to be amazing as well.

I think the Olympics are the BEST sporting event there is. All the nations competing and usually in good sportsmanship. I will watch all of it I can.

Equestrian for me!

It's such a shame that our hero Hickstead is no longer with us. Eric Lamaze has an ok mount for these Olympics but no match for Hickstead.

I also will be very curious to see how the Dressage event pans out. Germany bought the winning horse from the latest World Equestrian Games for $9.5 million Euro. It should be interesting to see how Totilas performs with the German team. He is quite the horse but $9.5 million Euro worth? That remains to be seen!

Even though I'm not an Olympic fan, it's difficult not to be excited by such a monumental event taking place just over an hour from home. I shall certainly support Great Britain and hope we bring home lots of medals !

Woops ! Forgot to answer the question earlier - Athletics will be my sport of interest.

I'll probably watch some gymnastics, martial arts, diving/swimming but I'm definitely a Winter Olympics kind of girl.

I'll probably watch out for Usain Bolt's events, but I'm not a huge olympics fan in general.

I to will be watching the equestrian for the exact same reasons as above!

I live in the uk and see the olympics as a waste of money in a time where the UK really needs investment elsewhere.

BAH HUMBUG!

I'll be surprised if I'll watch anything other than the equestrian events, we will however be watching the Olympic torch as it makes it's way along the road that my garden backs into...we have plans to move the kids climbing frame and perch at the top with a glass of wine in order to see over the wall as it goes past - none of this crowding in a packed street nonsense for us!

I like both the summer and winter Olympics. It's one of my favorite things to watch when it's going on. I'll have it in the background whenever there is a tv around.

I'll get wrapped up in so many events I usually don't care about. I like watching the different countries excel in events that they have a history at doing well at. Like Thai women and weightlifting or Jamaicans and sprinting. I like to see if they keep the traditions going. I also like to see countries like Korea do well in tae kwon do (spelling?) as its a sport they invented. I think it was them.. Maybe I'm wrong but the point is I like to see certain countries excel in sports popular in their own country. Like. Bulgaria and water polo or the USA and basketball.

I also like to see America get the most medals cause I'm American I suppose plus we throw a lot of money at our athletes. It's always interesting to see Australia, china and the other powerful countries give us a run for our money.

Countries like Japan are fun to watch too because they have some really great athletes for the size of their country.

I can't wait actually.

Have got tickets for several of the events and can't wait - will be great for London, even better for the UK. The worlds best on our door step - how anyone can say world class sport is boring - once in a life time opportunity!!
