Please forgive any mistakes, im not much of a poet and im not quite sure how these should write but heres one from my heart.


There have been ups to the point
of my heart bursting with love,
There have been downs so bad
I never thought I'd survive.

The scales never did balance
The tears were always mine
But look how far we have come,
It seems were doing fine.

From the worst time in my life
to the most hopeful I've ever felt,
You've dragged me through every emotion
then kissed it better 'till my heart would melt.

So here's to the new year
a new us, me, you, life.

A fresh start
A new way
We will put the past behind us
and look forward to each new day.
